Anti-SIAH1 inhibitors have also been used to delay the symptoms of ALS mouse strain and prolong the life-span of ALS mouse strain. Therefore, through the neuroregenerative ability of anti-SIAH1 inhibitors, these compounds could be a powerful alternative to replace the present treatment of ALS patients.
